Qplan

Qplan is the name of Queensland’s planning, development and building system. The ‘systems approach’ integrates community and industry involvement in state, regional and local planning to deliver better planning outcomes and sustainable communities.

Planning reform

The Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and the Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009 came into effect and replaced the Integrated Planning Act 1997 on Friday 18 December 2009.
